Dark ivory, champaign and lots of nudes are a major aspect of this collection, as well as handcrafted beadwork and new materials being created for new styles and patterns. The 18th century in Western Europe is the main inspiration point for this collection. Those days were the aftermath of the French Revolution – a time when women started feeling more comfortable about themselves, and have started wearing more figure emphasizing clothing. Fashion was still regal influenced, but women allowed themselves to start celebrating their femininity and natural beauty more than ever before. BERTA zoomed-in on this magical era, and have drawn lots of inspiration from then.
